Lamar R. Leiser

Lamar R. Leiser, 85, of Allentown passed away Friday October 25, 2013 at Above and Beyond Mountain View in Allentown. He was born on August 31, 1928 in Allentown, son of the late James and Margaret (Lewis) Leiser. He was the husband of the late Mary Ellen (McGill) Leiser.

Lamar was a supervisor in the Saucon Mills of Bethlehem Steel for 33 years. He received his Bachelors degree from Moravian College, and his Masters degree from Lehigh University.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Susan C. Moyer of Allentown, sisters, Priscilla Zimmerman of Alburtis, Lorraine May and Flavilla Miller both of Bethlehem, granddaughter, Codi S. Welch, and his dog companion, Manny.

He was predeceased by a son, James Leiser, and grandson, Dustin Leiser.

Arrangements are being handled by the Connell Funeral Home in Bethlehem, Pa. and services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
