Laura E. Berger

Laura Elizabeth Berger, 36, of Macungie, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of John Brown, Jr. and Pamela (Fowler) Brown of Bethlehem. She was also the loving wife of Michael B. Berger, whom she married on May 23, 2009.

Laura earned her Bachelors Degree from Cedar Crest College and her Masters Degree from Lehigh University. She worked for Lehigh Valley Hospital as a Senior Educational Developer. She loved cooking, dancing and spending time with her family. An animal lover, Laura also enjoyed caring for her pets and volunteering at local animal shelters.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Mike; daughter, Lillianna; parents, John and Pamela; brother, David and wife, Renee of Orwigsburg, PA; mother-in-law, Barbara Berger; and her aunt and uncle, Eileen and Dave Coursen. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jennifer Brown.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem. An 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow. Burial will be at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Animals in Distress, Lehigh County Humane Society, Easter Seals Lehigh Valley Division or Lehigh Valley Hospice.
