Laura J. Esposito, 86 of Nicholas St. Bethlehem Twsp, died Saturday morning, September 27, 2008 at her home. She was the wife of the late Dominic A. "Ming" Esposito who died in 2000.
Born in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Feher Salontai
Laura was baptized, educated for 8 years and married at the former St. John Capistrano Church in Bethlehem. She Graduated from Bethlehem High School in 1939 and was a graduate of Bethlehem Business College. Mrs. Esposito had worked in the insurance business most of her life. First with Fireman's Fund, then with G.B. Brown Insurance Co. and later with Henry S. Lehr Insurance Co. where she retired in 1992. She was a member of South Bethlehem Historic Society. She was a member of St. Jane DeChantal Catholic Church in Palmer Township.
She is survived by her sister Mrs. Elsie Ament of Bethlehem and her sisters-in-law; Brigitte Salontai of Bethlehem, Katherine and Mary Salontai both of California in addition to numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Joseph, Andrew, Elmer and infant brothers William and Andrew and her sisters; Nellie Doncsecz, Grace Kern and Mary Salontai.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. in the Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Jane DeChantal Catholic Church 4049 Hartley Ave. Palmer Township
Visitation will be 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m on Monday, in the funeral home and Tuesday from 8:30-9:30a.m.in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made in Laura's name to Heartland Hospice, 881 Marcon Blvd., Suite 3700, Allentown, PA 18109.
