Laura J. Perlow

Laura Jean Perlow of Bethlehem passed away March 4, 2013 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family after a short illness. She was the daughter of Joseph and Ksaweryna (Wadolna) Pakelo. Laura was born in Bethlehem on December 3, 1924 and attended school in the Bethlehem School District. She worked at the Bethlehem Steel and in the garment industry. She was married to Peter P. Perlow, her husband of 53 years; he preceded her passing away in 1999. She was a six decades member of Saint Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church.

Laura is survived by her daughters Diane Orner of Bangor and Joan Michler of Bethlehem, son, Peter Perlow of Amityville, New York. Grandchildren Brad and Justin Perlow, Sandra Orner, Rachel Gayle, Morgana Kennedy and great grandchildren Jewel Perlow, Ellen Felton, Rory and Dane Kennedy as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her three sisters.

Visitation will be at 11 AM at the Connell Funeral Home 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, with a funeral service to follow at 12PM on Saturday, March 9, 2013 . Interment will follow the service at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
