Lauren E. Burkhardt

Lauren Burkhardt, 20, of Bethlehem, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 1, 2013. She was born on October 23, 1992 in Allentown. She is survived by her parents, Peter and Stephanie Skyriotis of Bethlehem.

Lauren had a big heart and a smile that would light up a room. She enjoyed painting, crafts and dancing to her favorite music. Lauren will be remembered by her family and friends for her smart wit and sense of humor. She will be dearly missed by her parents; her maternal grandmother, Eileen Burkhardt, wife of the late William Burkhardt of Bethlehem; her paternal grandmother Yia Yia Thespina of Bethlehem; her sister and brother who she would do anything for, Evi and Bobby Skyriotis; her aunts and uncles, Joe and Tammy Delaney of Bethlehem and Lt. Col. Todd and Missy Burkhardt of Tennessee; her cousins, Brittany, Abigail and Ellie and her Godson, Mattix; as well as her extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, October 7, 2013 at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 6-7:45 PM with a Trisagion Service at 7:45 PM and another visitation will be held on Monday from 9-11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Lauren to the charity of ones choice.
