Lee A. Rayden

October 17, 1934 — September 4, 2010

Lee A.Rayden, of Bethlehem died Saturday September 4, 2010. He was born in Northampton, son of the late John E. and Florence A. Miller Rayden. He was the husband of the late Elsie Wagner Rayden.

Lee was a supervisor at Bethlehem Steel for 20 years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bethlehem, where he was involved with the Assisting Ministers Program, a Vice President of church council and Lutheran Men in Mission.

He was also active in the Lehigh Valley Old-Times Association, having starred in baseball, basketball and football during his high school years at Coplay High School.

He attended Albright and Moravian Colleges. Lee was a Marine Corps veteran.

He will be lovingly remembered by a brother, Bruce C. Rayden of Neenah, WI; a niece, Debra F. Gardner of Danielsville; and a nephew, Christopher J. Rayden of Neenah, WI.

He was predeceased by a brother, Norwood Rayden, and a sister, Althea L. Levis.

A Memorial Service will held 11AM Thursday September 16, 2010 at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church 474 Vine St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18015
