Leila Padilla

Leila Padilla, 60, of Lakeworth, Florida, formerly of Brooklyn, New York, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021.

Born April 27, 1961, in Cidra, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Mercedes and Jovita (Otero) Rivera.

A stay-at-home mom, Leila loved her children and grandchildrenshe was a “phenomenal mom.” She was extremely loving and excelled at making others feel good.

Leila will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Miguel Angel Padilla, Sr.; two sons: Miguel, Jr. and Hector Padilla; three daughters: Jessica, Jessenia, and Justine Leah Padilla; three sisters: Adelina Rivera, Luisa Gonzalez, and Modesta Paul; twelve grandchildren: Miguel Isaiah, Julious, Ezriel, and Zavier Padilla, Rayshawn Anthony and Nyasia Leila Nicholas, Exell Hernandez, Jayviana Arvelo, and Liyana Arvelo, and Kristalyn, Deijalyn, Julian, and Javion Padilla.

A visitation will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, on Thursday, September 16, 2021, from 6:00-8:00pm. A second visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 17, 2021, from 9:00am until the time of the funeral service at 10:00am.
