Lemuel Bernard Wilson

Lemuel Bernard Wilson (referred to as Bernard), 70, of Bethlehem passed away at home on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Born on January 6, 1955, in Jersey City, NJ to the late Elizabeth (Oglesby) Wilson and Lemuel S. Wilson. He was the loving husband of Diane (Dixon) Wilson.

Bernard graduated from Lincoln High School in Jersey City, NJ in 1973. He attended Syracuse University where he pledged Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated's reactivated Delta Beta Chapter (Ebony Six - Spring 1975). He was affectionately known as "Frosty" to his fraternity brothers and classmates. Bernard was a dedicated member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Bethlehem, PA. He enjoyed reading the NY Post, Daily News, and watching the Young and Restless. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cheering on his favorite team, the NY Giants. He also looked forward to his annual fishing trip to Canada with his Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. brothers. Bernard loved and cherished his family and was most proud of being "Poppy" to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 39 years, Diane Wilson; children, Andre Walker, Yolanda Mack, Dr. Monique Wilson, Randy Romar Hudson, Onika Wilson, Nikia Wilson, Nikita Real and daughter-in-law Stephanie Real; grandchildren JayLinn Walker, Noah Walker, Cadence Walker, Raziyah Eure, Hamid Eure, Christel Tolbert, Romar Hudson, Keyana Hudson, Natiya Natal, Maleeah Cruz, Aliyah Ramirez, and Kyah Nieves; great-grandchildren Ryliegh Tolbert and Mateo Hudson; nieces and nephews, Alik and Lauren Colbert, Shaniqua Colbert, Jamar Colbert and Alrielle Colbert; uncle Sidney Oglesby; sisters Colleen Colbert and Tina Wilson, and a host of cousins, other extended family, friends and fraternity brothers. Bernard was preceded in death by his brother, Rodney Wilson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 12-1 p.m.  followed by a repast from 1-4 p.m. at St  Paul Baptist Church 925 E.  Goepp St. Bethlehem, Pa 18017
