Leona M. Sufrich

Leona M. Sufrich, 82, of Hellertown, died on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at St. Lukes Hospital in Fountain Hill. She was born in West Wyoming, PA; the daughter of the late Horace Dane and Lillian Weymann Matis. She was the loving wife of Albert E. Sufrich. They celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary this past April.

Leona dedicated her life to her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Albert, of Hellertown; daughter, Karen, wife of Roger Jamann of Riegelsville; brother, Robert Matis of Florida; and her two grandsons, Robert and Gregory Jamann. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Norman & Donald Matis and a sister, Margaret Bartholomew.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be follow at Union Cemetery in Hellertown.
