Leonard J. Schwab

Leonard J. Schwab, 82, of Bethlehem, died on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at his residence.

He was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA; son of the late Leonard and Rose (Werner) Schwab.

Leonard is survived by his devoted wife, Margaret M. (Grohol) Schwab.

He served in the US Air Force as a flight engineer during the Korean War.

Leonard retired from the Charles Bell Co. where he was a salesman and co-owner.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Margaret; daughter Susan J. Powell and her husband, Brian of Bethlehem; his son, Jack Schwab and his wife, Deb Schwab of Bethlehem Twp. as well as three grandchildren, Jason, Cassie and Kyle and a sister, Rosemary of Wilkes-Barre.

Leonard was preceded in death by his brother Harry.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 8, 2012 from 10-11 AM at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18018 immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.

Entombment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
