Lewis P. Ronca

Lewis P. Ronca, 82, of Bethlehem, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the Hospice House of St. Luke's in Bethlehem. Born November 1, 1928 in Roseto, PA; he was the son of the late Fred and Rose Chaffier Ronca. Lewis was married to Margaret McDermott Ronca with whom he celebrated 22 years of marriage this past April 14th.

Lewis was a Master Plumber and Contractor and most recently, worked for MF Ronca and Sons. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

Lewis will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Margaret, of Bethlehem; daughters, Lois Ann, wife of David Mory of Bethlehem; Rosemarie Brotzman of Allentown; and Margaret, wife of Lars Dujardin of Hubert, NC; step-daughters, Jessica, wife of Douglas Atkinson of Harrisburg; and Cristin Miller of Charleston, SC; a grandson, Michael Ditalia and his wife, Lisa, of Bethlehem; three step- grandchildren and five nephews.

Lewis was preceded in death by his infant twin sons, Frederick Michael and Lewis Vincent Ronca and a brother, Michael F. Ronca.

SERVICES

A viewing will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 6-8 PM. A calling hour will be held on Monday, September 12, 2011 from10-11 AM in St. Anne's Catholic Church 450 E. Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will follow at New Catholic Cemetery in Roseto, PA.
