Lillie S. Bridges

October 8, 1908 — January 22, 2008

Lillie S. Bridges, 99, formerly of Easton and Pennsauken, NJ, died on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Kirkland Village in Bethlehem.

She was born in Easton, the youngest of eight children, to the late Elmer and Eva Bennett Bigley.

Lillie was preceded in death by her husband Andrew D. Bridges, Sr. in 1987.

She worked for Chipman Knitting Mills in Easton prior to dedicating her life to her family.

Lillie was a former member of Martin Luther Chapel in Pennsauken, NJ where she participated in the Dorcas Guild.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son Andrew D. Bridges, Jr. and his wife Rosanne of Allen Twp.; grandchildren Steven Bridges, husband of Marleah of Macungie and Amy, wife of Dean Rinehart of Bethlehem as well as five great grandchildren, Courtney, Isaac, Jasen, Dylan and Nicholas. Lillie is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

Lillie was predeceased by her sisters Carrie Frick, Violet Overholt, Elma Behney and Gladys Bigley and brothers, Will, John and Orville Bigley.

A visitation will be held at Connell Funeral Home, Inc 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem on Monday, January 28, 2008 from 10-11 AM with a service to celebrate Lillie's life to follow at 11 AM at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Durham Cemetery, Bucks County
