Linda M. Haluska

Linda Marie Haluska (Burkey), passed away peacefully on August 30, 2018 at the age of 62.

Linda was born on January 14, 1956 in St. Boniface, Pa. and was the daughter of the late Russell and Katheryn Burkey. She is preceded in death by her siblings Judy Born, Sheila Peters, and Joseph Burkey.

Linda graduated from Cambria Heights High School and attended Penn State University. She began her career in the banking industry at Merchants National Bank and was most recently working at BB&T in Bethlehem Township.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, she will be remembered for her endless kindness and generous heart. She was dedicated to supporting all of the activities of her children during their school years, and she especially enjoyed time spent with her grandson.

Linda was a loyal Penn State fan and enjoyed attending football games in Happy Valley.

She was a long-time parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Wayne (Ike) Haluska; daughter Keri Hoffman, her husband David, and grandson Owen of Jenkintown, Pa; and son Matthew of Mount Washington, Pa. She is also survived by her brother James Burkey of Hastings, Pa.

A viewing hour will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 4, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3219 Santee Road, Bethlehem, Pa with a 12 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be held at Saint Boniface Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
