Lois V. McFadden

Lois V. McFadden, 82, of Wescosville died on March 22, 2025. Born on October 26, 1942 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, to the late Simpson C. Pugh and Ruby L. (Hornung) Pugh. She was the loving wife of Charles McFadden.

Lois grew up in the Easton Forks area and graduated from Easton High School and Easton Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1963. Lois earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Arts from the College of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, on May 6, 1995. Lois dedicated her life to nursing, working in various roles at Easton Hospital, Northampton Community College, Phoebe Ministries and Lehigh Valley Health Network. She enjoyed watching wildlife in her backyard, gardening, volunteering to various activities she supported, reading mysteries, Harry Potter and traveling the world. Lois loved the Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State football.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Charles McFadden; daughter Nicole Ann Storm; grandson, Xavier Ayala; sister, Nancy Sostarecz; brother, John Pugh; brother-in-laws, Michael McFadden and his wife, Colleen and Owen McFadden and his wife, Gladys and nephews, nieces and extended families.

A viewing will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 10-11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.  A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
