Loretta A. Macsi

October 5, 1928 — February 1, 2016

Loretta A. Macsi, 87, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, February 1, 2016. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Emmanuel and Stella (Lucia) Piccirilli. She was the devoted wife of 67 years to the late Gabor S. Macsi, Jr.

Loretta was a 1946 graduate of Bethlehem High School. Prior to dedicating her life to her family, Loretta worked for Western Electric as an inspector. She loved being very active in her childrens activities, often volunteering as Den Mom, Team Mom and proud band parent. Loretta and her husband enjoyed the time that they spent together in the Rehoboth Beach area. She was also a parishioner of St. Annes Catholic Church.

Loretta will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Richard G. Macsi & wife, Kay of Ronks, PA and Robert M. Macsi & wife, Michele of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Brian Macsi & wife, Nicole and Rebecca Macsi and her great grandsons, Tyler & Gavin. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Jancsarics and her brother, Francis Piccirilli.

A Viewing will be held at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Annes Catholic Church, 450 E. Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
