Lorraine C. Miller

Lorraine C. Miller, 61, of Whitehall Twp., died Monday, October 1, 2007 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Allentown. She was born September 2, 1946 in Coaldale, the daughter of the late Steven and Claire Washefsky Kowalski. She was the loving wife of Robert K. Miller, Jr. they celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary this past March.

Lorraine worked for Raxon Fabrics in Allentown as a production clerk. She was a devoted member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Whitehall.

She enjoyed bingo and trips to Atlantic City but most of all her family.

Lorraine will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Robert, son, David J. Voorhees of San Diego, CA; daughter, Stephanie A., wife of Scott Speshok of Bethlehem; step-daughter-Denise Fulper of North Carolina; brothers, Steven, Eugene & Ronald Kowalski all of Bethlehem; sisters, Diane Wood and Agnes Kuritz both of Bethlehem; and Kay Hess of Northampton; two grandchildren, Brianna & Brooke.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert J. Voorhees

Services: Visitation will be Thursday, October 4, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem and Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 3024 S. Ruch St. Whitehall, PA from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the church. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
