Lottie Shannon

Lottie Shannon, 82, of Bethlehem, died on Friday, February 26, 2016. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Myrtle (Bogart) Fritchman. She was the wife of the late Jacob H. Shannon who died in 2011; they were married 59 years. Lottie dedicated her life to her family and especially loved being a Nana.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Ed Bartholomew and his wife Donna, Mary Haber and her husband John, Kathy A. Burton and her husband Gerald, Diane MacAdam and her husband Jim; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and siblings, Robert and Irene Fritchman. She was predeceased by her son, Jeffrey Allen Bartholomew.

Visitation hours will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, on Tuesday, March 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday, from 10 to 11 a.m. An 11 a.m. funeral service will follow on Wednesday, in the funeral home. Burial will be at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery.
