Louis A. Xenophon,

Louis A. Xenophon, Sr.,82, of Nazareth, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018. He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late Mary (Turan) and Andrew Xenophon. He was the loving husband of Barbara J. (Fluck) Xenophon.

Lou graduated from Liberty High School where he played basketball and football. He was a firefighter for the City of Bethlehem for over 30 years, serving as local 735 union president from 1973-1978 and again from 1981-1984. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and betting on the horses. Lou loved being a husband, father, grandfather and father in law. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his heart of gold.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Xenophon; son, Louis Xenophon, Jr. and his wife Judy; daughter, Lori Trone and her fianc, Artie Kufrovich and grandson Nick Trone.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 2-4p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Pl. #170 Bethlehem, PA 18017.
