Louis Klovacs

Louis Klovacs, 88, of Bethlehem, died on Thursday, January 7, 2010. He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late Frank and Barbara Pisco Klovacs. Louis is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lena Lenora Kehley Klovacs. He worked for the Chic Bag Co. prior to serving his community as a Bethlehem Police Officer. Louis was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and the Bethlehem FOP Star Lodge #20 and enjoyed hunting, carpentry and sports; especially the New York Yankees. Survivors: Wife, Lena; daughter, Lana Lee Brown and her husband Larry of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren, Larry, Jr., Louis, Leslie and Lee Anne; as well as eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services: Viewing will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2010 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem and again on Monday, January 11, 2010 from 10 to 10:30 a.m. with a service to immediately follow at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Nisky Hill Cemetery.
