Louisa Ann P. Check

Louisa Ann P. Check, 74, of Bethlehem, died on Wednesday, December 22, 2016, at St. Lukes Hospice House. She was born September 24, 1942 in Allentown, daughter of the late John C. and Elizabeth M. (Schwader) Check, Sr. Louisa was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School. She later worked for A & B Meats from 1961 to 1980 and Pentamation from 1982 to 1992 and later retired as a clerk for LPC Radiology of Whitehall. She was a former parishioner of St. John Capistrano Catholic Church where she was a past president of the Rosary and Altar Society and more recently a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Louisa was also a member of the Little Helpers of St. Anne.

She will be dearly missed by her brother, John C. Check, Jr. and his wife, JoAnne of North Carolina; a niece, Beverly Stevens and two nephews, Jonathan and Timothy Check; as well as three great-nieces and two great-nephews.

The Connell Funeral Home is honored to assist Louisas family. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Carmelite Monastery, 3551 Lanark Rd. Coopersburg, PA 18036.
