Louise H. Nagy

Louise H. (Repasch) Nagy, 91, of Northampton, formerly of Bethlehem, PA passed away Monday, April 23, 2012 at Sacred Heart Assisted Living in Northampton. She was born on Wednesday, December 29, 1920, in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Anna Schoffhouser and John Repasch. She was married to the late Steven Nagy.

Louise dedicated her life to her family. She was a loving, generous, and ebullient mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, watching football, cooking, and reading mystery novels. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bethlehem Township.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Lois Ann Nagy and four grandchildren, Vickie Martin, Steve Martin, Greg Martin and Doug Martin, and extended family George and Toni Martin, The Sepanski family, The Hnath family, The Logsdon family, The Metzger family, The Morris family and best friend Harriet Schreckinger.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Deborah A. Martin, brothers, Joseph Repasch and John Repasch and sisters, Mary Ortwein, Elizabeth Stiefle and Anna Rossman and a niece, Rose Stiefle.

A viewing will be held on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 9:00-10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18020 at 11 AM. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.

The family would like to acknowledege the loving staff at Sacred Heart By the Creek Northampton and Diakon Hospice Saint John as well as Louise's community of friends at Sacred Heart.

Memorial contributions may be made in Louise's name to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
