Louise I. Wasko

Louise I. Wasko, 78, of Bethlehem, died Saturday, December 12, 2009, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Born in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Frank and Vera Zemlichs Sinko. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, John J. Wasko of Bethlehem.

She was a life-time member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She was employed by Fountain Hill Mills where she worked as a supervisor. She also worked part-time for the Bethlehem Steel and Douglas Dress Shop.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, John, sisters, Mary Schmaldinst of Allentown, Frances Vargo of Lehighton, and Christine Schray of Bethlehem. She was preceded in death by brothers, William, Stephen, James, and Francis.

Arrangements are being handled by Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, where visitation will be held on Monday December 14th from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Anne's Catholic, 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem 18017. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anne's Catholic Church.
