Lucie A. Altenbach

Lucie A. Altenbach, 97, of Whitehall Manor, formerly of 1411 Chelsea Ave. Bethlehem, passed peacefully while at rest September 25. She was married to the late Carl P. Altenbach for 66 years until his death on March 3, 2003.

Born in Freemansburg, she was the daughter of the late James and Catherine McCall Reynolds. She was a member of St. Anne?s Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Lucie was devoted to her family and very proud of her two daughters. She loved to travel throughout Europe and also enjoyed vacations in Atlantic City.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Lucille P., wife of David A. Assad of Allentown; Patricia A., wife of Ish Fatzinger of East Allen Twp.; granddaughter, Karen, wife of M. Scott LaVelle of Lake Stevens, WA; and three great-grandchildren, Dylan, Sierra and Meghan LaVelle also of Lake Stevens, WA.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Friday, September 28, 2007 at 11 a.m. at St. Anne?s Catholic Church 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem. Calling hour will be from 10-11 a.m in the church.
