Lucille C. Phillip

Lucille C. Shive Phillip, 83, of Allentown, died Friday, February 22, 2008 at the Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke's in Bethlehem, surrounded by her family.

She was the loving wife of William F. Phillip with she just celebrated 56 years of marriage this past January. Lucille was born September 18, 1924, the daughter of the late William and Margaret Faulkner Shive.

Lucille worked for Faschnaut Doughnuts. She was dedicated to her family. She enjoyed making crafts and the time she had with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

SURVIVORS

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband William F. Phillip, Sr., of Allentown, children; William F. Phillip Jr. and wife Rose of Allentown, Patrick E. Phillip and wife Patty of Whitehall, Marlene Roeder and husband Edwin of Northampton, Bonnie Gamberdella and husband Arthur of Allentown, Lawerence Schaffer of Emmaus, Gerald Schaffer of Allentown. Her legacy of love and family will live through her nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her twelve brothers and sisters.

Services

A viewing will be held Wednesday February 27, 2008 from 7-9 PM at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem and again Thursday February 28, 2008 from 10-11 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church 501 Ridge Ave. Allentown, PA 18102, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.
