Lucy H. Sylvester

Lucy H. Sylvester, 86, of Bethlehem passed away on Sunday June 28, 2015 at Manor Care of Bethlehem surrounded by her family. She was born on July 4, 1928 in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Sterling and Catherine (Henry) Zettlemoyer. She was the wife of the late William Nemchik and Daniel T. Sylvester Sr. Lucy worked for Surefit Mtg. of Bethlehem for a number of years. She provided Home Services before retiring to Moravian House in Bethlehem. Lucy was an avid swimmer and enjoyed trips to the New Jersey Shore.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Anne Marie Nemchik, Roseann Puhan, Theresa Kreider, and Nancy Makos, brothers, Richard Zettlemoyer, James Zettlemoyer, and Arthur Zettlemoyer, sister, Louise Lipsky, 9 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Daniel T. Sylvester Jr., brother, William Zettlemoyer, and sister, Catherine Somyak.

Graveside Services will be held 11:30 am Friday July 3, 2015 at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.
