Luis A. Rivera

Luis A. Rivera, 58, of Fountain Hill, PA passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Easton Hospital. He was born August 9, 1954 in Patillas, Puerto Rico, son of the late Octavio Rivera and Carmen (DeAlba) of Puerto Rico.

He will be lovingly remembered by his fiance, Crystal Heckman, of Fountain Hill; daughters, Jessica Rivera, wife of Luis Ortiz of Fountain Hill; Deanna Rivera, wife of Angelo Benitez and Candace Sanborn both of Bethlehem; son, Patrick Mead of Wilkes- Barre, PA; brothers, Victor Rivera and Carmelo Rivera both of Puerto Rico; sisters, Judy Vega of Connecticut; Sylvia Rivera of Puerto Rico; and Yolanda Rivera of Reading, PA; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held 11a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A viewing will be held 6-9 p.m. Friday evening and 10-11 a.m. Saturday morning in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
