Luis Jacinto

Luis Jacinto, 94, of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke's. Born in Portugal, he was the son of the late Antonio and Barbara Jacinto.

Luis and his wife Elisa Costa Jacinto were married for 67 years.

Luis came to Bethlehem in 1975. He was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church in Bethlehem. He had worked at the Hellertown Bakery.

Luis is survived by his wife, Elisa, of Bethlehem, sons Antonio J. of Bethlehem, Luis J. of Cumberland, Rhode Island, Manuel J. of Bethlehem and Amadeu J. in Portugal, daughters, Adelaide Conceicao Santos of Bethlehem, Maria Helena Silva in Portugal and Maria Isabel J. DaCosta of Waterbury, Connecticut. He is also survived by a brother Jose Jacinto in Portugal, 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Carlos Alberto Jacinto.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
