Luis M. Delarosa

Luis DeLaRosa, Sr., 77, of Slatington formerly Bethlehem, PA died on January 27, 2021. He was born June 1, 1943 in Utuado, Puerto Rico; son of the late Ricardo and Cecelia (Soto) Reyes. Luis is survived by his wife, Denise (Halpin) DeLaRosa.

Luis worked for several companies throughout the Lehigh Valley but he retired from Allentown State Hospital as a landscaper. He was very talented; a jack of all trades. He will be remembered as a friendly man who would always lend a helping hand and will be missed by those that knew him.

Luis will be dearly missed by his wife, Denise; children Manny DeLaRosa, Ashley DeLa-Rosa, Margaret Fancher, Luis DeLaRosa jr., Mark DeLaRosa, Trudy Lee, and Gina DeLa-Rosa; and siblings, Eva Rosado, Roberto DeLaRosa, Carmen Ruiz, and Dorleen. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph DeLaRosa.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A limited number of guests will be permitted in the building at one time and CDC guidelines must be followed. A private service for family will follow. Friends are welcome to attend the burial following the service at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice in honor of Luis.
