Luz Z. Santos

Luz Zeneida Gomez De Santos, 66, of Bethlehem, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019. Born in Santiago Rodriguez, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of Justiniana (Jimenez) De Gomez and the late Rafael Maria Gomez. She was the beloved wife of Manuel Santos.

God was a priority in Luzs life. She loved God and practiced her faith daily. Her faith in God never diminished, instead, it grew more and more each day no matter the circumstances. She shared her love for God by being there for others in their time of need, caring for others without judgement, and always shared wonderful words of encouragement. Luzs testimony is her living proof of all the wonderful miracles God granted her in her lifetime. It was important for her to have her testimony spread in hopes that it will bring others to Christ. Luz wanted her life to be celebrated and not mourned. She asked that we do not spend our time being sad and crying over her passing, but to think of the precious and heartfelt moments she shared with us.

Luzs final wish was for her family and friends to come to God so one day they can meet again in heaven.

All viewing hours and service will be held at the Smyrna Church of The Lord, 1537 E 6th St, Bethlehem, PA 18015. Viewing hours will take place on Friday, July 26, from 6 to 9 p.m. and again on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday followed by burial at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown, 85 Main St, Hellertown, PA 18055.
