Madonna Marie Boaz

Madonna Marie Boaz, 56, of Bethlehem, died on Friday, December 19, 2014 at her residence. She was born June 25, 1958; daughter of the late James and Mary (Kenny) Dwyer. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Boaz. Madonna will be remembered for her heart of gold. She enjoyed arts and crafts, reading, the love and company of her close friends, and was an avid fan of the Chicago sports teams and the love of competition of all sports.

Madonna worked as a certified medical assistant and her passion was caring for her family. She will be forever remembered by her husband; children, Maureen Lyn Galan; David Phillip Boaz (Witkus) and Mary Barbara Boaz and grandson, Riley Michael Galan all of Bethlehem; step daughter Alexis Leach and granddaughter Mackenzie Boaz of Oregon; and her siblings, Mary Kay Dwyer; Kathleen Dwyer; Patricia Vaci; Maureen Byrnes; Deborah Karwoski; James Dwyer; Edward Dwyer; Therese Dwyer; Walter Dwyer; Sheila Dwyer; Regina Pohrebny and Daniel Dwyer.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 from 12-2 PM at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018, immediately followed by a ceremony to celebrate Madonnas life. Additionally, a memorial service will be held at Holy Sepulchre Alsip, IL, in the spring of 2015. Memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o the funeral home.
