Marcella V. Creedon Blum

Marcella Creedon Blum, 95, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Monday, June 13, 2016. She was born on May 30, 1921 in Avoca, PA. Marcella was the daughter of Mary (McAndrew) and Samuel Bolack. She was the loving wife of the late John Creedon (1941-1981) and the late Robert Blum (1986-2016).

Marcella was a member of St. Annes Catholic Church. She was employed by Western Electric for 30 years. She was also a member of the Western Electric Pioneers Club and the Young Matrons YWCA. Marcella enjoyed spending her winters at her home in Port Orange, FL. She especially loved her family and took pride in being a grandmother and great grandmother.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Marsha and her husband Michael H. Kashner of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Kara Kashner Spradlin and her husband Gregory of Baltimore, MD, and Michael J. Kashner and wife Nicole of Bethlehem; 2 great-grandchildren, Brayden and Kacy Kashner; sister Evelyn Gutowski of Avoca, PA and nieces and nephews. Marcella was preceded in death by her infant son, John Joseph Creedon.

A viewing will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 10-11 a.m. at St. Annes Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Lukes Hospice C/O Development Office, 801 Ostrum St. Bethlehem, PA 18015.
