Margaret A. Davies

Margaret A. Davies, 94, a longtime resident of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Holy Family Manor. She was born in Bethlehem on December 3, 1925, the daughter of the late Stephan and Mary (Skerlak) Flandorfer. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd G. Davies in 2000.

Margaret will be lovingly remembered by family and friends for her thoughtful, kind, and caring nature. She was known for her independence and her love of residing in Bethlehem. Margaret graduated from Allen High and worked as an office manager at Synthetic Thread. In her free time, Margaret enjoyed solving crosswords and jumbles, and reading a good book. She was a parishioner of Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Church.

Margaret will be dearly missed by her son, David Davies and his wife, Ellen; grandchildren, Elizabeth Davies Fox and husband, Blayne, and Stephen Davies; as well as nephew, David Ungerer; and niece, Linda DeJesus. Margaret was predeceased by her sister, Elsie.

Margarets family would like to thank the staff of Holy Family Manor for their loving care.

Services will be private, and a memorial service will be announced when restrictions are lifted. Condolences may be offered and future service information will be listed at www.connellfuneral.com. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
