Margaret Cooper, 95, of Bethlehem passed away on Monday November 20, 2017 at Bethlehem Manor. She was born on November 19, 1922 in Bangor, PA, daughter of the late Chester and Celeste (Tonelli) Gambelli. She was the wife of the late Theodore W. Cooper. Margaret worked as a licensed practical nurse for St. Lukes Hospital for many years. She served her country in the US Navy during WW II. Margaret was also an avid bowler with the Funettes.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Robert H. Cooper and wife Susan of New Tripoli, daughter, Judith Cooper of Bethlehem, granddaughters, Rebecca Raymond and husband William, of Edgewater, MD, and Amy Cooper and companion Heather Hanna of Allentown, great grandchildren, Sam Raymond, and Abigail Raymond, and brother, Anthony Gambelli of VA. She was predeceased by a brother Henry Gambelli

A Memorial Service will be held 11a.m. Saturday November 25, 2017 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018. A calling hour will be held from 10-11a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church 1817 First St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18020.
