Margaret D. Kiak, 85, formerly of 220 Leonard St. Hellertown, died on Monday, April 23, 2007 at Holy Family Manor.
She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late John and Mary Sikora Stofko.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Stephen "Steve" Kiak in May of 2005
She was a member of St. Josephat's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
Margaret dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker.
She was a member of the National Sokols Lodge #93
Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her family, Daughter, Catherine M. wife of John Savitske of Hellertown; Son, John S. Kiak husband of Linda of Douglasville, PA; and Son, Richard N. Kiak of New York. As well as her sister, Irene Miller of Bethlehem; and seven grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Stephen J. Kiak; brothers, John Stofko; Michael Stofko; Edward Stofko; and sisters, Anna Ruyak and Helen Roma
Margaret will be forever remembered as a kind and caring mother who enjoyed life and loved her family. She was well known for entertaining at her home, especially her Christmas open house.
SERVICES
A visitation will be held on Wednesday Today, April 25, 2007 from 6:30-9 PM at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 26, 2007 at 11:30 AM at Holy Family Manor Chapel, with a visitation from 11-11:30 AM.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Holy Family Manor Activities Dept. 1200 Spring St. Bethlehem PA 18018
