Margaret “Marge” Bealer, 98, of Coopersburg died February 26, 2018 at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem. Born December 10, 1919 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Rose (Lukacs) and Joseph Kaiser. She was married to the late Ernest Bealer.
Marge worked at Fountain Hill Mills until she retired. A strong spokeswoman for her colleagues, Marge advocated for her co workers so they got the best pay and benefits.
Marge was dedicated to her family; her sisters, nieces and nephews. She knew all the birthdays within her family of her eleven siblings, their children and grandchildren and presented each family member with special cakes she would bake and gifts to celebrate. Marge could challenge the best pastry chefs today with her Hungarian know-how: delicate cakes with perfected icings were the best treats baked along with her sister Wilma (Kaiser) who turned out pastries such as butter horns, kiffles, pies, and appricot squares.
Marge was an active member of St Joseph's Parish in Coopersburg, PA. For decades she provided the many German and Hungarian foods for their picnics and sales to raise funds to support their ministry.
Marge will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Jean Kaiser, Elsie Fenicle, and Betty Frederick and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at St. Joseph Church 5050 St. Josephs Rd., Coopersburg, PA 18036 at 10 AM.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church.
