Margaret E. Guzzo

Margaret E. Guzzo, 97, of Bethlehem passed on Wednesday, November 18, 2015. She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Elizabeth (DeLaurentis) Vallera. She was the loving wife to Eugene J. Guzzo. They were married 58 years before his passing in 1999.

Margaret worked as a hat designer and floor lady at local sewing factories and was a parishioner of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Easton and St. Annes Catholic Church, Bethlehem. She was also a very avid and energetic bingo and card player.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, JoAnn P. Norris of Bethlehem; grandsons, Jason A. Grimm and Richard J. Norris; and her great-grandchildren, Kayla, Carson and Kayden Grimm. She was preceded in passing by her son, Eugene N. Guzzo and grandson, James N. Grimm, Jr.

A visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2015 at St. Annes Catholic Church, 450 E. Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 12 p.m. in the church. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Connell Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anne's Church, Bethlehem, the Allentown Rescue Mission, or The Salvation Army.
