Margaret E. Rekos

Margaret E. Rekos, 96, of West Chester, formerly of Bethlehem passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021. Born on December 16, 1924, she was the daughter of William and Margaret (Reinbold) Miller. She was the loving wife of the late John R. Rekos.

Margaret graduated from the University of Pennsylvania class of 1945. She was a nurse at St. Luke's hospital before retiring from Holy Family Manor. She enjoyed quilting, knitting and crocheting. Her garden, full of fresh fruits and vegetables, brought Margaret great joy.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Brian Rekos and wife, Marguerite; daughter, Beth Pry; grandson, Brandon Pry and his fianc, Ashley Glass, great grandchildren, Aurora Layne Pry and stepchildren Gia and Cole. Margaret was preceded in death by her grandson, CPL Eric B. Pry United States Marine Corps

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 10-11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery in Nesquehoning.
