Margaret Gallagher

Margaret ?Peg? Gallagher, 79, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, November 20, 2006, at St. Luke?s Hospital. She was the wife of the late Bernard J. Gallagher, who died in 1979. Born in Audubon, N.J. she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Cunningham Cook.

Peg was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church and was very active in the Senior's groups at both Notre Dame and SS Simon & Jude Church. She retired in 1994 after 15 years of dedicated service as a secretary at Bethlehem Catholic High School.

Peg is survived by her loving children, Bernard J., Jr. of Emmaus, Robert M. of Orefield, Michael J. of Bethlehem, Kathleen of Center Valley and Patrick E. of Northampton .

She was predeceased by a son, James F. in 1998.

She is also survived by 9 grandchildren who she loved dearly.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 ? 9PM and on Saturday from 9:15 ? 10:15AM in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. Services will begin at 10:15AM on Saturday at the funeral home and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Notre Dame Catholic Church at 11:00AM.

Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
