Margaret H. Shegina

Margaret entered this life on January 8, 1920 in Pennsylvania born to John and Mary Berkovich Shegina. She was predeceased by six sisters and three brothers, and entered into rest on February 23, 2012 at the age of 92 years in La Mesa, California.

She will be deeply missed by her niece Kathy Zoshak; nephews Gregg Gorcsan, and wife, Cristina; Frank & Connie Gorcsan; niece Anne Beckley; nephew& niece Dr. & Mrs. Frank Cinelli & Family; The Shegina Family, The Clark Family, and extended family and friends.



Margaret has lived the past 4 years in El Cajon, California.

She earned her doctorate EdD at Lehigh University in 1972. She also held a Bachelor's and Masters degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. She was director of the Practical Nursing Program at Upper Bucks County Area Vocational-Technical School until retirement in May 1985.

She was very proud of her 25 year career as a nurse educator.

Graveside Services will be 11AM Saturday March 17, 2012 at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Connell Funeral Home in Bethlehem is in charge of the local arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Anne's Catholic Church 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem, Pa. 18017.
