Margaret J. Bunderla

Margaret J. Halleman Bunderla, 94, of Bethlehem, PA passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem. Born July 24, 1916 in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Theresa Fiertag and Andrew Halleman. She was married to the late James A. Bunderla, Jr. for 63 years.

Margaret dedicated herself to her family. She was a member of St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bethlehem where she was involved with The Women of the ELCA Ministry of Hospitality for the Bach Festival and the Fall Bizarre. She also volunteered her time at the Southside Ministries Thrift Shop.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, James A. Bunderla, III and wife Nancy and a sister, Marion Halleman.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Margarite Bunderla, brother, Joseph Halleman, sisters, Helen Eckert, Bertha Halleman, Ema Halleman and Theresa Hero.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, January 7, 2011 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 10-11 AM followed by a service at 11 AM. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
