Margaret J. Webb, 87, of Bethlehem died on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Gracedale Nursing Center. She was born May 4, 1920 in Philadelphia; the daughter of the late Edward Adam John Herbott and Mary Elizabeth Hanna Herbott. Margaret is survived by her husband William H. Webb and would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on Nov. 5th. She graduated from Episcopal School of Nursing and worked as an army nurse in England with the 96th general hospital during WW II before devoting her life to her family as a homemaker. Margaret was a Girl Scout Leader for a number of years. Margaret was a member of Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem serving on the Altar Guild and the church thrift shop. She was a member of the Saucon Square and Round dancers and the Yellow Rockers of PA. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, William; daughters, Linda L. Webb of Bethlehem and Margaret J. Sigley of Freemansburg as well as her grandson William R. Mease; two great-grandchildren Kelsy and Ashley and her brother William Paul Herbott of Palm Beach Garden, FL and three nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her son Kelvin W. Webb and her brother Edward Adam John Herbott . A Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 16, 2007 at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem from 7-9PM and again on Wednesday October 17, 2007 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home followed by funeral service at 11:00 AM held at Church of the Nativity, 321 Wyandotte St. Bethlehem on Wednesday October 17, 2007. Burial will be at Bethlehem Memorial Park. Contributions to the Church.
