Margaret "Peggy" C. Morgan, 87, of Bethlehem passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025 at Bethlehem South Nursing & Rehab Center. She was born in Shamokin on April 18, 1937 to the late Foster D., Sr. and Mayme (Fidler) Morgan. Peggy devoted her life to music education; she was the first female instrumental band teacher for the Bethlehem Area School District teaching at East Hills Middle School for 33 years until retiring. Her passion extended beyond the classroom; she taught private music lessons and was an enthusiastic supporter of the Special Olympics, volunteering at local skating rinks. Peggy was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was also known for her love of cats and her joy for word searches. Peggy was a member of Advent Moravian Church, Bethlehem and its Brass Choir.
Survivors: son: Daniel M. (Brenda L.) Moser of Whitehall; brother: Foster D. Morgan, Jr. of Allentown; grandchildren: Lorelei M. Moser (Nick Walker) and Jenna M. Moser (Christopher Oritz).
Service: Family and friends are invited to her viewing 12-1pm Friday, January 17, 2025 at Advent Moravian Church, 3730 Jacksonville Road, Bethlehem, PA 18017 followed by a service at 1 pm. The entombment will conclude services at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. Condolences may be offered online at www.connellfuneral.com
