Margaret Popp

Margaret "Muggy" Popp, 81, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at the Hospice of VNA of St. Luke's in Bethlehem. Born May 2, 1924 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary SivulkaTuranchik. She was the loving wife of the late Michael Popp. Margaret was a life member of Ss Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church of Bethlehem. She was very active with the churches rosary society, prayer group and she was a pierogie maker. She also participated in the Senior Citizen's Group at Ss Simon & Jude Catholic Church of Bethlehem.

Margaret will be lovingly remembered by, her son, Michael Popp & wife Cathy of Clifton Heights, daughter, Gloria O'Hara & husband Richard of Dresher,

brothers-John Turanchik of Hamburg, Edward Turanchik of Bethlehem, a sister-Verna Makarchuk of Bethlehem and four grandchildren, Melissa, Michael, Erin and Taryn.

She was preceded in death by six sisters, Helen Turanchik, Mary DeNofa, Anna Turanchik, Julia Pastelyak, Pauline Turanchik, Irene Horvath and a brother Michael Turanchik, Jr.

Services: A Panachida service will be held, Friday, April 21, 2006 at 9:15 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem, followed by Office of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Ss Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church 1140 Johnston Dr. Bethlehem. Visitation will be Thursday, April 20, 2006 from 7- 9 p.m. in the funeral home with a Parastas Service at 6:30 p.m.
