Margaret Ring

Margaret Ring, 89, of Whitehall died on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Whitehall Manor. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen Schwear Skurla. Her husband, the late Henry Ring, died in September of 2004. They had been married for 64 years.

Margaret was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Allentown. She had worked in the garment industry in the Allentown area for 30 years, retiring in 1967.

Surviving are her daughter Shirley Connor and her husband Robert of Bethlehem, grandchildren, Timothy and his wife Belinda, Karyn Talarico and her husband Louis and Kevin and his wife Jill. Also are two great grandchildren, Gianna Talarico and Dylan Connor.

She is predeceased by 4 sisters; Anna Leshko, Emma Lobus, Mary Sniscak and Helen Kocur and 3 brothers; Joseph, Michael and John.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at St Francis of Assisi Church, Allentown. The family will receive friends and relatives from 9:00am - 10:00AM in the church.

Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown.
