Margaret "Sue" Bonser

With heavy hearts, we sadly announce the passing of Margaret "Sue" Bonser, 77, of Bethlehem, who passed away on April 2, 2024. She was born in Quakertown on May 25, 1946, to the late Charles Kemmerer and Arlene (Unangst) Kemmerer Hower. She is survived by her husband, Ernest F. Bonser, Jr. They were married on April 26, 1975.

Sue will be remembered for her passion for baking, gambling, and especially cruising. Earlier in life she had a fierce spirit on the bowling alley. She dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker.

Sue will be dearly missed by her daughters, Michelle Horrox and spouse, Doug, Monica Merkel and spouse, Kathy Hutnick, Malissa Sullivan and spouse, Chris, Kim Bonser, Kelly Qualye, and Kacey Bonser, sisters, Joanne Heppe and spouse, Tom, Becky Schock and spouse, Roy, Karen Heiter and spouse, Mike, and her brother Rich Hower and spouse, Brenda. Sue had a special place in her heart for her 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, and her grand dogs. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Terry, Dale, and James.

Funeral services and ceremonies to honor Sue's life will be held privately. She will forever be missed and remembered by all those whose lives she touched.
