Margarida De Carvalho Melo

Margarida de Carvalho Melo, died on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at her daughter's home in Bethlehem Twp. She was born the 2nd of seven children, September 8, 1922 in Branca, Portugal; daughter of the late Manuel Carvalho and the late Rosa Jesus Fonseca. Margarida was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Marques Melo. She will be dearly missed by her ten children, 22 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 8-9:15 AM on Thursday, February 14, 2013 with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow, 10 AM at Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 E. 4th St. Bethlehem, PA 18015. Burial will be held in Portugal. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
