Marguerite Cengeri

Marguerite Cengeri, 85, of Bethlehem passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Saucon Valley Manor in Hellertown, PA. She was born on July 29, 1926 in Northampton, PA daughter of the late Carl and Veronica Waller Meyer. She was the wife of the late John J. Cengeri.

Marguerite was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish and its Senior Group in Bethlehem. She was also a member of the Saengerbund in Coplay where she loved to dance.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Joan Duser wife of Neil, of Bethlehem; Rita Hancock of North Wales, PA; and Ann Hooper wife of James of Houston, TX; brothers, Carl Meyer of Coplay; and Edward Meyer of Northampton;

and grandson Adam Duser.

She was predeceased by a brother, Frank Meyer, and a sister, Ann Esterly.

Services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at

10 a.m. at Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, 617 Pierce St., Bethlehem, PA 18015. A viewing will be held Thursday morning from 8:30-9:30a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
