Maria del Carmen Santos Cruz, 60 aos, residente en Bethlehem, Pa. Falleci el lunes 13 de septiembre de 2021 en su hogar rodeada de su familia. Naci en Barranquitas, P.R. Fue hija de Jos Cruz y Maria Figueroa. Estuvo casada con Gerardo Santos por 35 aos.

Maria Del Carmen se dedic a cuidar a su famili. Era miembro de la Iglesia Catlica Holy Infancy en Bethlehem. Maria amaba y escribia sus propios poemas. Era amaba y escribia sus propios poemas. Era amante de la cultura en especial de la cultura puertorriquea.

Con mucho amor va a ser recordada por su esposo Gerardo, su hija Marinela, su prometido Tommy Figueroa, su hijo Toms Jos, sus tres nietas Sorayah, Ahnaleya, Maiyalee y sus 7 hermanos.

Su velatorio ser el Domingo 19 de septiembre de 2021 a las 6:00pm a 9:00pm en el Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, P.a 18018. El lunes 20 de septiembre en la Iglesia Holy Infancy habr un velatorio de 12:30pm a 1:30pm y luego se celebrar una misa en honor a Maria Del Carmen Santos Cruz. Su sepelio ser el martes 21 de septiembre en el cementerio Holy Saviour a las 1:30pm.

Maria Del Carmen Santos, 60, of Bethlehem died Monday, September 13, 2021 in her home with her family by her side. Born in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico she was the daughter of the late Jose Cruz and Maria Isabelle Figueroa. She was married to Gerardo Santos for 35 years.

Maria dedicated herself to raising her family. She was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church in Bethlehem where she was extremely active. Maria loved poetry as well as writing her own poetry. A culture enthusiast who loved and appreciated her Puertorrican culture.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Gerardo, daughter, Marinela Santos and finance, Tommy Figueroa, son, Tomas Jose Santos, 3 grand daughters, Sorayah A. Santos, Ahnaleya M. Figueroa, and Maiyalee A. Figueroa, and 6 brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her brother, Carlos Juan Cruz.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 6-9 PM. A calling hour will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E. 4th St., Bethlehem, PA 18015 from 12:30-1:30 PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30. Burial will Tuesday at Holy Savior Cemetery at 1:30. For everyones safety please wear a mask.
