Maria Helena Almeida

Maria Helena Almeida, 81, of Bethlehem, PA passed away on Wednesday February 21, 2024, at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth, PA. She was born in Santiago de Cassurraes, Portugal, the daughter of the late Jose and Rosa (Rodrigues) Viegas. She was the wife of Carlos A. Almeida of Bethlehem, PA. and they were married for 61years. Maria was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church in Bethlehem, PA

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Carlos, daughter, Maria Costa and husband Carlos of Emmaus, and Melissa Cheatham and husband Scott of Bethlehem, son Dennis Almeida and wife Melissa of Fogelsville, brother, Antonio, sisters, Emilia, Lourdes, Aurora, Christina, and Odete, grandchildren, Jessica and husband Jason , Steven, Katerina, Alana, Lauren, and Alex, and great grandchildren, Ava and Ayden. She was predeceased by a sister, Ilda.

A viewing will be held 8:00-9:30am Saturday February 24, 2024, at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10am at Incarnation of Our Lord 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem, PA 18015. The burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem, PA
