Maria Isabel Merle

Maria Isabel Merle, 55, of Bethlehem died on Sunday, August 08, 2010 at Manor Care Health Services.

She was born October 16, 1954 in Patillas, Puerto Rico; the daughter of the late Bernardo Merle and Iluminada Figueroa Colon of Patillas, Puerto Rico.

Maria worked at Lehigh University as a Lending Service Assistant for 23 years.

She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, Bethlehem.

Maria will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Iluminada; her brother, Wilfredo Colon husband of Evelyn and their children Michael A. and Tamara L. Colon with whom Maria resided in Bethlehem and her brother Hector Colon husband of Dina of Lancaster.

She was also preceded in death by her sister Iris Colon.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 from 6-9 PM at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem and again on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 from 8-10 AM with a ceremony to immediately follow at 10 AM in the funeral home.
